PRODUCING TOMORROW’S MUSICIANS®

NOTES FOR NOTES® is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing youth with completely FREE access to music instruments, instruction and recording studio environments so that music may become a profoundly positive experience in their lives.

NOTES FOR NOTES STUDIOS are packed with guitars, drums, keys/synths, DJ gear, digital music stations and professional recording gear offering youth completely FREE access to explore, create, and record music. Located inside Boys & Girls Clubs and after-school centers in underserved areas around the country, every studio is staffed by a N4N team member. These Producers educate, encourage, and listen to each youth member to help them be their best selves, both personally and artistically.

Current Studios: Nashville x2, Memphis, San Francisco x2, Santa Barbara x2, Los Angeles x3, Las Vegas, Austin, St. Paul, Milwaukee, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, DC, and New York City x5 + coming soon to High Point, NC with our first studio in partnership with a public school.

Dear Lauren,

We opened our NOLA N4N Studio in the fall of 2016 and had a thriving program in partnership with the local Boys & Girls Club until 2020 when we were forced to close our studio due to the closure of the Boys & Girls Club. Our studio was located on Broad Street next to the former Calliope Projects, home to notable MCs like Master P. While we would have loved to continue serving NOLA youth the closure of the building we housed our studio in put an immediate end to our program in the city. We are constantly strategizing and looking for ways to return to THE most iconic music city in the country.
